Ahh, our first. It’s hard to think it’s been ten years since we checked into our first hotel (underage) for a taste of apple martini at Skybar. We loved the crisp white and soft Tiffany blue colors of the room, and can still remember the scent of the Agua spa bath products. Skybar has one of the most memorable skylines in Los Angeles, and manages a sense of serenity threatened by nearly all of its Sunset Strip neighbors. Asia de Cuba is just the right spot for a weekend brunch and mojito, as well as a mandatory bite of their incredible Dulce de Leche cake. One of the first boutique hotels in Los Angeles, the Mondrian Los Angeles remains a mandatory stop for the visiting (or local) glitterazzi.
