The Four Points Sheraton La Jolla has one of the better and more reasonably priced full room service breakfasts. We were impressed by the size of our room and the additional sitting area. As with any suburban CA hotel, your room is usually a convoluted hike from the main reception desk, but our Starwood upgrade meant our room was worth the trek.

In 'W' speak, 'Wonderful' rooms are on lower floors, 'Spectacular' rooms are on higher floors, and 'Cool' rooms are expansive corners with double exposures. Our room was finished in immaculate W lighting and so quiet we felt like the only guests of the hotel. Let’s Take San Diego
A proximity between downtown and the beach willing to suffer any office meeting, coastline as gorgeous as the year round weather, sea breezes, oceans. We love San Diego for its unmistakably Southern California atmosphere and the Coaster train that stops a block from the W. But it’s a day racing boats in the harbor that won us over, with a view of planes landing so close to the water they seemed almost floating.

Proximity to the beach is the defining characteristic of San Diego. If, like us, you are sorely in need of vitamin D, you'll be refreshed by an afternoon on the water or a short walk on the beach. We recommend a sail in San Diego Harbor or sand castle building on Del Mar beach.
